About the role

Reporting to the Store Owner, you’ll be responsible for supervising the team and ensuring that operations run smoothly across checkout and foodservice, inwards goods and maintain a high standard presentation of the shop across departments.  As a small store, we get stuck into everything, whether that is food preparation, unloading of pallets from our deliveries, handling fresh meat and seafood, and serving our famous chicken and chips. Days of work to be discussed at interview stage, but you must be available to work one weekend day and 2 evening closing shifts.

About you

• Passionate about customer experience and working positively in a team environment
• Previous customer service and supervisory experience
• Able to work independently, using your initiative and working efficiently
• You are fit and able to safely lift 15-20kg with ease, there is a lot of heavy lifting involved in this role
• Keen to learn and get involved in any department in this diverse role
• Current duty manager's certificate for liquor is preferred
