Evening Duty Manager

New World Island Bay is currently seeking an Evening Duty Manager.

The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for looking after the store operations for the evenings, planning and coordinating the evening grocery team and other daily operational requirements.

They must ensure that our store is always presented to the highest possible standard at every moment to provide the best overall shopping experience for our customers. They will also be responsible for solving any customer issues that may arise, making sure that team members are productive at all times and ensuring that the store is closed securely at the end of the night.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a proven ability to supervise or manage a medium to large sized team and be able to demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills. They will also have a great attitude and work ethic, honesty, a high level of integrity, display high presentation standards, great delegation skills and have an eye for detail.

A forklift license would be useful but not essential as well as a Liquor managers certificate.

The finer details of the hours and renumeration will be discussed if you are successful in gaining an interview. 

The hours will be 5 days a week including one weekend day, and 2:00pm to 10:00pm

The successful applicant will be required to work a weekend shift. The pay package for this role will reflect the skills and potential of the successful applicant.
