Evening Scannables Assistant

New World Pioneer is a large, locally owned and operated supermarket in Palmerston North. We employ a team of 200+ who pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service.

We’re looking for a top performer to join our Evening Grocery Team full time– someone fast, focused, and fired up to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Work in our grocery department
• Ensure efficient and accurate handling of stock, maintaining high standards of quality
• Restock, merchandise, face up, and keep the store looking sharp for the next day
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
• Organise and maintain a well-structured stockroom
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements

• Available to work evening shifts, including over holiday periods
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
  
• Physically fit and comfortable handling chilled and frozen products
  
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  
• Supermarket or retail experience is beneficial

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 1.30pm – 10.00pm

Friday: 2.00pm – 10.30pm
