Gilmours North Shore is a locally owned food and beverage wholesaler supplying to hospitality and related industries throughout Auckland’s North Shore region.

We're looking for an Experienced Checkout Assistant who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service.

Can you speak Korean? Even better! While it's not essential, it would be a great advantage in helping us deliver exceptional service to our diverse range of customers.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 10.30am - 6.00pm

What you'll bring: -

• Previous checkout or retail experience is essential.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent cash handling and attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support your team.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

What you'll be doing: -

• Providing fast, friendly, and professional service to every customer.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assisting customers with enquiries and resolving issues confidently.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
• Working collaboratively with your Teammates to keep the front end running smoothly.
• Helping create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
