Experienced Florist

At New World Te Rapa we are on the look out for a fulltime qualified and experienced Florist to join our team.

Are you passionate about flowers and love helping customers brighten their day? Join our team in Flowerbox at New World Te Rapa.

Interview Process:

• Interview with hiring manager and Floral manager
• Demonstrate making a bouquet in the floral department 

What You’ll Do:

• Create beautiful floral arrangements, bouquets, and displays

   

   

• Assist customers with flower selection and special orders

   

   

• Maintain fresh and visually appealing floral displays

   

   

• Care for flowers and plants to ensure quality and longevity

   

   

• Keep the department clean, organized, and well-stocked

• Communicate with the Floral Department Manager

   

• A creative eye and a passion for flowers

   

   

• Friendly, helpful attitude with great customer service skills

   

   

• Basic knowledge of floral care (experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person!)

   

   

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

   

   

• Must be able to lift and move buckets of flowers, deliveries and stand for extended periods
