FIXED TERM Lift Operator - New World Victoria Park

At New World Victoria Park, we are out here trying to provide a sweet experience to make life easier for the customer. And right now, we’re looking for TWO FIXED-TERM full-time Lift Operators to join our team during an exciting period of store refurbishment. You must be able to fulfil the hours in their entirety. The roles are fixed term for 6 months, with potential for extension depending on how the refurb works progress.

Friday–Tuesday 7:00am–3:00pm OR Wednesday–Sunday 3:00pm–10:00pm

The Role:
As a Lift Operator, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming and assisting customers using our external lift — a key part of ensuring accessibility and convenience while we renovate. Duties include:

• Operating our manual external lift (please note: this is a physical role and requires strength and stamina)
  
• Assisting customers with trolleys and accessibility needs
  
• Providing clear, friendly direction and guidance to customers
  
• Maintaining the lift area to a high standard of tidiness and safety
  
• Communicating with the team and using initiative to manage flow and timing
  
• Being outdoors under cover, rain or shine
