Forklift Grocery Assistant (Night Shift)

Grocery Assistant with F Endorsement – Requires an F-endorsed forklift licence and experience operating a reach truck
What You’ll Do
- Retrieve pallets from ground level and higher racking using a reach truck
- Stock shelves and ensure product availability for the morning team and customers
- Safely operate a reach truck following all procedures
- Complete tasks quickly and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience – At least one year in a similar role
- Licensing:
- Grocery Assistant with F Endorsement – F-endorsed forklift licence required
- Safety focus – Ability to follow all workplace safety procedures
- Physical fitness – Able to bend, lift (up to 25kg), kneel, and move throughout an 8.5+ hour shift
- Full, clean driver’s license – As public transport may not be available at shift times
- Strong communication skills – Ability to work well with different people
- Self-motivated and proactive – Takes pride in their work
- Team player – Works well in a busy environment
- Calm under pressure – Handles challenges effectively
- Attention to detail – Ensures accuracy in all tasks
Eligibility
Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid NZ work visa with at least 12 months remaining and no work restrictions.
