Forklift Operator Night shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with company and health & safety requirements.
• Transport stock from storage areas to shop floor locations.
• Assist with stock replenishment to ensure shelves are filled for daily trading.
• Load, unload, and move products within the store and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct routine equipment safety checks and report any issues.
• Ensure stock is handled carefully to minimise damage and wastage.
• Maintain accurate stock storage practices and inventory control.
• Support the Nightfill team as required to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating forklifts in a retail, supermarket, warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Current New Zealand Forklift Licence (essential).
• Demonstrated experience handling palletised stock safely and efficiently.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for permanent night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Summary

• Location: PAK'nSAVE Clendon
• Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
• Hours: Minimum and Maximum 40 hours per week, night shifts (10:00pm - 7:00am), including weekends and public holidays
• Pay Rate: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
