Forklift/Reach Truck Operator

The Role;

We’re looking for an experienced Reach Truck/Forklift Operator to join the Grocery Evening Fill team to move stock from the storeroom, into the store and onto the shelves.  The aim is to get the shop as fully stocked as possible overnight before trading begins at 7am. Due to Health and Safety requirements we are only able to have forklifts and reach trucks on the shop floor when the store is closed. 

We are looking for a full or part time reach truck driver, the shifts are 8pm - 4:30am and you must be able to commit to a Friday & Saturday night. We are open to negotiate roster times for the right candidate.

• A current forklift licence (OSH) holder with a full driver's licence
• ideally at least six months relevant supermarket experience
• Ideally at least six months reach truck/forklift driving experience
• A vigilant and accurate driver with a strong understanding of health and safety
• Proven experience in working within a successful team
• You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & have valid working rights in New Zealand.
