Four Square - Assistant Store Manager

Four Square Otaika has changed ownership and we are after some new team members to join us. You will be joining us as we embark on some exciting changes in store in the coming months!

• Candidates with current LCQ / managers cert preferred
• All Applicants must have a right to work in New Zealand
• Must have grocery experience or ambition to get into ownership

Four Square Otaika is looking for a Assistant Store Manager to join our team ASAP!

About the role:

We are looking for an exceptional Manager who is a Customer Experience superstar, to help lead our team, who is excited about change and wants to help make the store exceptional! This position is responsible for ensuring the customer gets a first-class experience, by ensuring an outstanding personal service at all times of the day. The role includes making sure all departments are running well while on duty, merchandising store as needed, handling customer enquiries, cashing up and closing up the store at the end of the day. The position will also take on the responsibility of ordering for at least one of the departments. 

We have big plans to grow our fresh offering in the coming months so there will lots of opportunity for learning and growth in aspects of the business.

Must be able to work at least one day in the weekend.

What are we looking for:

• A passion for delivering awesome customer experiences 
• Ability to lift approx. 20kg’s
• Retail and/or grocery experience
• LQC and managers certificate*

Must have as part of the job:

- Valid Duty Managers certificate or 1 years retail management experience and we can support you to get your Duty Managers certificate

- Experience in management (supermarket ideal)

- Exceptional customer service skills
