Four Square - Compliance Manager

We’re looking for a motivated and approachable person who enjoys building strong relationships with our department managers, team members, and external partners who help us maintain our Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Price Integrity standards.

Supermarket experience isn’t essential, but the ability to understand, apply, and uphold our compliance programmes is a must. You work with a strong sense of urgency while always ensuring services and products are delivered safely for both our customers and our team.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Completing store audits for both Food Safety and Health and Safety and assisting departments with making improvements where necessary, and ensuring a pass at every audit and maintaining the same standards every day.
• Completing training individually and of the team when required
• Assisting with the rollout and implementation of all Food and Health and Safety and Inventory Programmes prescribed by Foodstuffs, MPI and / or the relevant agencies.
• Monitoring the efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of established systems in relation to food safety in the store in terms of understanding the requirements and implementing as required
• Ensuring that our team members maintain the required standards at all times.
