Four Square Otaika is looking for someone who can work across our Bakery and Service Deli to join our team ASAP!
About the role:
Are you passionate about food and providing excellent customer service? Four Square Otaika is seeking a dynamic Fresh Foods Assistant to join our growing fast-paced Deli department. This is a full-time position and will be predominately in the kitchen and helping us prepare fresh food and cook chicken and chips! Must be able to work at least one day in the weekends. And shifts would be mostly in mornings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skillfully bake various baking items, previous baking experience ideal
- Cook chickens, prepare sandwiches, pizzas, chicken and chips and ‘heat and eat’ meals etc.
- Maintain high standards of presentation in the serve-over area.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adhere strictly to food safety procedures to ensure the sale of safe food.
- Previous cooking experience is essential
- Comfortable with some heavy lifting.
- Eager to learn and follow food safety protocols.
- Able to work efficiently in a high-energy setting.
