Shifts: Mon Tues Wed 1.30pm – 8pm, Sun 6am-2pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary role of the Fresh Foods Assistant is to assist and support the Fresh Foods departments where required. Our Fresh Foods departments are Produce, Deli, Butchery, Seafood and Bakery. You will be provided with a roster which may see you working in multiple departments throughout the week. Some of your roles and responsibilities may include:

• Serving customers appropriately and in a timely manner
• Assisting with production of instore made products and meals
• Assisting in the day-to-day running of the department
• Packaging and pricing products where required
• Supporting in department housekeeping such as cleaning where necessary
• Comply with our food control plan and health and safety programme

• A can-do attitude
• Previous experience in a supermarket and/or hospitality is a MUST!
• Experience in customer service is necessary
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
