Position: Fresh Foods Supervisor
Department: Fresh Foods (Bakery, Butchery, Deli,Produce)
Reports To: Store Manager
Job Summary
The Fresh Foods Supervisor leads daily operations across fresh departments to ensure maximum product freshness, optimal stock presentation, and strict adherence to food safety standards. This role manages shift workflows and drives a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Department Operations: Oversee daily prep, stocking, rotation (FIFO), and display presentation across fresh departments.
Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce HACCP protocols, local health regulations, temperature logging, and cleaning schedules.
Inventory & Shrinkage: Monitor stock levels, track waste.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries promptly, resolve complaints on the floor, and maintain top service standards.

Previous experience in retail supermarket or fresh food operations but are willing to train the right person
Physical Ability Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
Availability Flexible availability for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
