Fresh Foods Manager

PAK’nSAVE Masterton is seeking an experienced and driven Fresh Foods Manager to lead our fresh departments. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering outstanding quality, presentation, and customer service across our fresh food offering.

Position Details:

• Days: Sunday to Thursday
• Hours: Full-time (rostered hours to be discussed)
• Location: Masterton

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of all fresh departments (Butchery, Produce, Seafood, Bakery, etc.)
• Leading, motivating, and developing team members
• Ensuring high standards of product quality, availability, and presentation
• Managing stock levels, ordering, and minimising waste
• Driving sales and achieving department targets
• Maintaining food safety and health & safety compliance

• Proven experience in a supermarket or fresh foods leadership role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
• Solid understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
