About the role

You’ll be working across our Butchery and Seafood departments, helping ensure our displays are fresh, well-presented and fully stocked while providing friendly service to our customers.

This is a fulltime permanent Role.

Days and hours are:

Sunday-Thursday

8am-5pm

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Stocking and maintaining Butchery and Seafood displays
• Packing, wrapping, weighing and labelling products
• Rotating stock and checking dates
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Following food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements
• Assisting the department team with day-to-day tasks
• Helping keep preparation and storage areas clean and organised

• Is friendly, reliable and hardworking
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
• Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation
• Is comfortable working in a chilled environment
• Can work efficiently in a busy supermarket environment
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Is willing to learn

Previous experience in butchery, seafood, fresh foods or retail would be an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
