Frozen & Chilled Supervisor Wanted

New World Papatoetoe is seeking an experienced and motivated Frozen & Chilled Supervisor to lead our temperature-controlled departments and help deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is passionate about retail, food safety, team development, and maintaining high presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

·Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Frozen and Chilled departments

· Ensure excellent product availability, rotation, and presentation

· Maintain strict food safety, health & safety, and temperature control standards

· Lead, train, and motivate team members

· Manage stock control, and minimize waste

· Work closely with the Buyer to meet sales and KPI targets

About You

· Previous supermarket or retail experience (Frozen/Chilled experience preferred)

· Proven supervisory or leadership experience

· Strong understanding of food safety and cold chain compliance

· Good organizational and time-management skills

· A positive attitude with strong communication skills

· Able to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
