FULL TIME Baker - New World Victoria Park

At New World Victoria Park, we are out here trying to provide a sweet experience to make life easier for the customer.  And now, we are looking to fill ONE full-time Baker vacancy within our Bakery team to work 40 hours.

 

Tuesday-Saturday 4am-12:30pm

The Role:

• Preparing, baking and finishing doughs and sweet foods such as breads, sourdoughs, pastries, pies, cakes and other baked goods.
• Handling product in and out of industrial ovens.
• Producing quality goods consistently and efficiently as per our daily production schedule.
• Packing and merchandising products.
• Consistently upholding the Food Safety and Health and Safety Standards.
• Working closely with and being a positive role model in the culture of our diverse team.

 What are we looking for?

• Qualified baker
• A confident person with previous baking/cooking experience and a good overall knowledge of bakery products.
• Physically fit individual able to handle manual lifting, working with ovens and other heavy equipment.
• A fantastic attitude and work ethic and a passion for making a workplace great.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• The ability to listen to instructions and make things happen.
