FULL TIME Bakery Assistants - New World Point Chevalier

At New World Point Chevalier, we’re passionate about providing a fresh and friendly shopping experience for our community. To keep delighting our customers with beautiful, delicious baked goods, we’re looking for TWO Bakery Assistants to join our busy team. You must have a current right to work in NZ. 

 

Shift 1: Tuesday - Saturday 4am-12:30pm

Shift 2: Saturday - Wednesday 4am-12:30pm

The Role

We’re after motivated, reliable team players with a positive attitude who love working with food and creating great customer experiences. As a Bakery Assistant, you’ll:

• Prepare, decorate, and package bakery products (cakes, muffins, scones, breads, rolls, biscuits, etc.).
• Complete temperature checks and maintain food safety compliance.
  
• Keep bakery displays fully stocked, fresh, and visually appealing.
  
• Take and prepare customer cake orders and serve customers with a smile.
  
• Rotate stock, reduce to clear when needed, and minimise wastage.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented work area.
• Assist across the store as required to support the wider team.
