Checkout Supervisor – Full Time

New World Milford is looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Checkout Supervisor to help lead our front‑end team and ensure a smooth, friendly, and efficient checkout experience for our customers. This is a full‑time role (5 days per week), including one weekend day.

 

As a Checkout Supervisor, you will support and guide the checkout team, manage daily front‑end operations, and lead by example in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining strong compliance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the checkout team during shifts
  • Manage customer flow and ensure efficient front‑end operations
  • Deliver a consistently positive customer experience
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
  • Manage cash handling, tills, and end‑of‑day procedures
  • Maintain front‑end security and ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and security procedures

About You

  • Previous retail or customer service experience, with supervisory experience preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Calm, reliable, and confident under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
