Here, at PAK’nSAVE Palmerston North we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Grocery 2IC.

Reporting to the Grocery Manager, we are looking for a motivated person to join our Grocery team. You will be responsible in assisting the manager with planning and coordinating all facets of the day to day operations of the department and ensuring staff are well trained to provide the best overall shopping experience for their customers.

The Role:

• Replenishing stock and merchandising
• Motivate, support and provide direction to the Grocery team
• Actively sets, monitors and maintains consistently high standards of customer service 
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times
• Guiding all identified department members through identified training to achieve desired standards of performance. 
• Support Manager in ensuring time sheets, rostering, compliance requirements and day-to-day operations are completed.
• Manage the appropriate department staff effectively through adherence to appropriate in-store policies and procedures and by setting a personal example of expected store behaviours.
• Actively contributes to a team spirit of openness and inclusiveness where colleagues feel able to offer ideas and able to identify opportunities to drive success and team culture within the department. 
• Ensure the Grocery Supply Code Of Conduct is met at all times by maintaining transparent pricing and upholding ticketing standards throughout the department.

Thursday, 7.30am - 5pm

Friday, 6am - 3.30pm

TOTAL = 45 hrs
