Grocery & Frozen Assistant – Full Time

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Grocery & Frozen Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role working across our Grocery and Frozen departments, helping to keep our shelves well stocked, our displays looking great, and ensuring our customers can always find what they need.

 

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

 

• Replenishing grocery and frozen stock throughout the store
• Filling shelves accurately and efficiently
• Rotating stock and checking product dates
• Maintaining high presentation and merchandising standards
• Ensuring shelves, freezers and work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Receiving and moving stock safely
• Helping with promotional displays and ticketing
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service
• Working closely with the Grocery team to ensure the department runs smoothly

About you

We are looking for someone who:

 

 

• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Is physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and moving stock
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Has good attention to detail
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
• Takes pride in keeping the department well presented
• Is committed to providing excellent customer service

Previous supermarket, grocery or retail experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential as training will be provided to the right person.
