ABOUT THE ROLES

We are looking for a full time Grocery Assistant to help with the day-to-day running of the departments. Some other key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Unloading deliveries, breaking down pallets, and putting stock away into the correct allocations
• Ensuring shelves within your designated aisles are fully stocked, tidy, and well presented
• Regularly checking and facing up products while minimising disruption to customers
• Completing housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Supporting other departments when required and working collaboratively across the store
• Handling customer queries
• Follow Health and Safety Policy, Food Safety Policy and compliance procedures in the store
• Assisting in other areas of the store as required

Here is what you NEED to be considered:

• Customer Service experience in retail or hospitality is a MUST!
• Flexible with days/hours of work
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Accuracy and an eye-for-detail
• A can-do attitude
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads in a busy retail environment
• Right to work in New Zealand
