Grocery Manager-Bay of Islands

New World Kerikeri are looking for an experienced Grocery Manager to help us deliver the best customer experience and to motivate and inspire our team

The Role:

Permanent Full-Time Position, 40hrs+ per week, 5 days per week.

As Grocery Manager you'll be a hands-on leader, responsible for a team of 40-50. You will be responsible for:

• Delivering a high-quality shopping experience for customers through exceptional inventory management and merchandising standards.
• Controlling all department costs and ensuring sales and GP targets are met or exceeded.
• Team member management including rostering, onboarding, training, and supervision.
• Maintaining strong relationships with external suppliers and merchandisers as well as internal team members.
• Implementing and maintaining health & safety and food safety policies to agreed standards.

What we are looking for:

• Proven retail experience to supervisory or department management level.
• Supermarket/Grocery experience and understanding.
• SAP experience is desirable.
