As one of the fastest growing supermarkets in the group we are looking for the right, customer driven Grocery Manager to continue lifting the bar on shelf availability and outstanding presentation in the heart of our store.
As the central part of New World Masterton you will be a key department Manager responsible for the delivery of an excellent shopping experience, driving productivity, the highest standards and outstanding customer service.
The Role:
- Lead and work with our Grocery team to continue delivering the best Supermarket dry offer in the Wairarapa.
- Understand, manage and drive your KPI's in order to ensure your aisles look the best they can, 24 hours per day - 7 days per week.
- Work with suppliers, rep's and merchandisers to leverage the best possible outcome for your product, team and department.
- Have a detailed knowledge of SAP in order to understand your stock position across each category.
- Be hands on in display management, shelf flexibility and category change through seasonal and new product variation.
- Maintain a firm understanding of your team of full time and part time team members in order to manage and meet the needs of the business.
- Have a keen eye for standards in cleanliness, maintenance and presentation at all times.
