Grocery (2IC) – Duty Manager

NW Glenview is currently seeking an experienced Grocery Supervisor to join the team.

The Role:

• Assist the Grocery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the grocery department and store in the evenings.
• Assist customers with product inquiries to enhance their shopping experience.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing guidance to the small team.
• Coordinate all facets of the day-to-day operations of the departments 
• Manage staff, stock, and merchandising 
• Ensure staff are well trained to provide the best overall shopping experience for our customers

What we’re looking for

• Previous supermarket experience – ideally in grocery.
• Proven leadership capability to lead and inspire a team.
• SAP experience desirable.
• LCQ and Managers certifications desirable- (experience selling alcohol is advantageous)
• Ability to be able to work flexible hours mostly in the evenings
