Grocery Supervisor - Evenings

We currently have a full-time supervisory position available in our Grocery Team. We're looking for someone who understands that creating an exceptional experience for our customers begins with strong, supportive leadership for our team. So, if you have proven leadership skills in a supervisory position and a 'think customer' mindset then this opportunity could be perfect for you!

The role at a glance:

• Providing on the floor leadership to our grocery team - coaching conversations, driving workflow, problem solving, leading by example.
• Providing feedback to the Dry Goods Floor Manager to help ensure we work smarter not harder.
• Moving product from our storeroom into the shop (varies across ambient, chilled & frozen areas).
• Accurately displaying product, ensuring that shelves are full and faced up accordingly.
• Working to the FIFO method to ensure compliance with food safety standards and best practice guidelines. 
• Assisting customers with their queries during operating hours. 
• Maintaining the safety and well-being of yourself, the team and our customers at all times.
• Assisting across other areas of the store as required.
• Opportunity for advancement or training into duty management.

• Have proven leadership experience and the ability to get the best from team through coaching conversations.
• Understand workflow and be confident in adapting to changing needs.
• Have proven experience cohesively working with a range of people - our team ranges from 16-65+ so being personable and relatable is a must.
• Be a reliable person with great time management.
• Be detail focused and have an eye for presentation.
• Be physically fit - this role requires you to be on your feet, climbing up and down ladders, and repeatedly moving products that can weigh up to 20kg.
• Follow health and safety policy, food safety policy and compliance procedures in the store.

• 2:30pm-11pm
• 5 days per week, (Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Saturday)
