Shifts: Tuesday to Saturday 1:30pm - 11pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Grocery Supervisor, you will be required to assist with the day-to-day running of the department including stocking the shelves to a high standards, oversea staff productivity as well as provide and train staff on delivering outstanding customer service. Some of the key areas for the role will be:

• Help assist in meeting specific departmental targets as well as operational delivery standards
• Ensure Foodstuffs New World promotional and pricing programs are adopted as well as appropriate signage being displayed
• Assist in effectively managing and leading of the team along with their on-going training
• Adhere to the food safety, health & safety and compliance policies and guidelines for Online and the store

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:

• Previous retail experience in a supermarket is ideal!
• Ability to prioritise and multitask to consistently meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
• Comply with our food control plan / health and safety programme
• A “Can Do” Attitude
• Right to work in New Zealand
