Grocery Team Leader - Full Time

PAK'nSAVE Hastings has an exciting opportunity within their Dry Goods Leadership team as a Grocery Team Leader! This role exists essentially to ensure these areas are fully stocked and presentable, to make sure our loyal customers receive the best shopping experience in the Bay!

The days and hours are as follows:

• Tuesday to Saturday 4:00am - 12:30pm (40 Hours per week)

Under the direction of the Dry Goods Manager, this position will see you responsible for ensuring there is full range of products available for our customers to shop, ensuring price integrity with all Grocery, Chilled, Frozen and Liquor lines, food safety compliance on a daily basis and assisting department management with the smooth running of the Dry Goods team!

Duties include, but are not limited to:  

• Ensuring all food safety and health & safety standards are maintained in accordance to the relevant policies
• Undertake daily food safety compliance.
• Motivating, coaching and supporting the Dry Goods team, ensuring that best practice policies and operational procedures are followed at all times
• Effectively ensuring that all departments are stocked throughout opening hours and FIFO and stock rotation procedures are adhered to.
• Working and liaising with the management team to ensure efficiency in processes and productivity of team
