PAK'nSAVE Westgate is one of the fastest growing stores in our group and we're looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our night-fill team.

The role

As a Forklift Operator you'll be joining the high performing Grocery team at PAK'nSAVE Westgate who are responsible for ensuring a full offering of our Dry Goods and General Merchandise products are available for our customers in a safe and timely manner. It is a varied and busy role where you will work closely with the Grocery Night Fill Manager and other team members to have the store ready for opening at 08.00.

Core responsibilities will also include:

• Participating in an evening meeting where store needs are identified and allocated between the team.
• Identifying picking needs from high racking and ensuring stock is available for morning Grocery team members.
• Building and changing displays including Aisle of Value to match Theme Week and Store Standards.
• Thinking 'safety' at all times.

Hours:

 Tuesday 22:00 - 8:00 

Wednesday 22:00 - 8:00

Thursday 22:00 - 8:00

Friday 22:00 - 8:00

Saturday 22:00 - 8:00

About you

With a focus on 'Thinking Customer', success in this role will also require.

• Ideally you will have at least one year of experience operating a counterbalance and/or reach forklift.
• Meticulous attention to detail to manage tasks within assigned processes and organise workload to achieve desired results.
• Able to commit to working night shifts and maintaining a healthy work-life balance including rest prior to rostered shifts.
• Excellent verbal communication skills – with a desire to engage meaningfully with the rest of the team.
• Able to think on your feet and be responsive in a fast-paced environment where speed and safety are equally important.
