We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the People & Culture Manager across all aspects of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and records management. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone ready to gain HR experience while making a meaningful impact on our workplace culture.

Your Impact

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment—posting roles, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews that bring top talent to our team.
  • Ensure every new team member feels welcome by preparing onboarding materials and facilitating engaging introductory sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity at all times.
  • Be a trusted go-to for employee questions about HR policies and procedures.
  • Champion a positive team culture by helping organise staff events and supporting ongoing learning initiatives.
  • Assist with benefits administration and help streamline key HR processes for a smooth employee experience.
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations so our HR practices continually improve.
  • Take part in HR projects and new initiatives that drive our business forward.
  • Pitch in at the Checkouts on occasion to support our wider team and connect with customers.

Position Details

This position starts at 8 hours per week, with the exciting potential to grow as you do. We offer flexible scheduling, ideally over 2 days, 4 hours each day, so you can easily balance work and life. Compensation will reflect your experience and will be discussed during the interview.
