HR Generalist - New World Rototuna

We’re thrilled to offer an opportunity for a part‑time HR Generalist to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across the full spectrum of HR—supporting HR operations, recruitment, learning and development, and people‑focused initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in supporting managers with employment‑related matters, including navigating those tough but important conversations that help strengthen our culture and set our people up for success. Alongside this, you’ll be working closely with our Compliance Manager to ensure our teams remain supported and aligned.
We're open to applications from talented individuals at Administrator, Coordinator, or Advisor level—we’ll shape the role around the strengths and experience for the right person.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven HR experience—from Administration through to Advisory level
- Sound understanding of NZ employment legislation
- Confidence in maintaining accurate HRIS and employee records
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Sound judgement with a discreet, trustworthy approach
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- A strong work ethic and high level of integrity
- A qualification in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a generalist HR role
- Flexibility with working hours—occasional weekend work may be required
