HR, Office & Compliance Assistant – Pak’NSave Highland Park

We’re excited to announce that Pak’nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community!

We’re currently seeking a HR, Office & Compliance Assistant to join the team. If you’re a recent HR graduate or experienced supermarket employee with a passion for HR, this is the role for you!

The Role:

  • Coordinate and deliver HR and Compliance support for the store in conjunction with the HR Manager and Compliance Manager.
  • Build relationships with department managers and individual employees.
  • Support the development of store culture and implementation of new HR initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate procedures for recruiting staff is followed utilising reference checking, succession planning and advertising strategies.
  • Store orientation and induction processes.
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

  • HR related qualification or degree is desirable.
  • Good understanding of FMCG and supermarkets.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build solid relationships with the wider team.
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Keen to learn and grow in the HR and compliance field.
