We are looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Inwards Goods Assistant to join our team at PAK'nSAVE Napier City.
This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient flow of stock into the store, ensuring accuracy, safety and strong communication across the business.

Rostered hours are Tuesday - Friday 10.00am - 18.30, Saturday 05.00am - 13.30
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all incoming goods, ensuring they match invoices, delivery notes and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate recording of all stock movements within store systems.
- Maintain efficient organisation and storage of stock in designated areas.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers, drivers and internal departments.
- Ensure the inwards goods area remains clean, safe and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements to workflow and stock management processes.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy items.
Requirements
- Previous experience in inwards goods warehousing or logistics is preferred.
- A current forklift license.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices.
- Understanding of health & safety requirements.
