Inwards Goods Assistant – Pak’NSave Highland Park
We’re excited to announce that Pak’nSave Highland Park will be joining the community February 2025! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the East Auckland community!
We’re currently recruiting for Inwards Goods Assistants to join the team!
Early morning shifts required – must be able to work 1x weekend day.
The Role:
This is a key role in assisting the day-to-day operations in our Inwards Goods Department.
- Ensuring stock is efficiently unloaded, while ensuring Health & Safety standards are met
- Breaking down pallets and marking off stock appropriately
- Managing our daily load to ensure our shelves are kept stocked within acceptable morning timeframes
- Making sure discrepancies are accounted for and dealt with appropriately
- Adhering to the Food Safety Plan and ensuring compliance to all regulations
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards in the Storeroom and yard areas
- Ensuring Forklifts and equipment pre-start checks a completed, general condition is maintained and issues are reported.

What we’re looking for:
- Must have current Forklift Certification (OSH cert)
- Previous storeroom/warehousing experience.
- Attention to detail a must as booking in our deliveries is required
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Ability to multi-task and also complete tasks within the required timeframes
- A positive work ethic and attitude
