We're looking for an Inwards Goods Assistant to join our busy store and help keep our operation running smoothly from the moment stock arrives. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who's sharp, fit, and ready to work hard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Unloading incoming stock efficiently and safely, meeting Health & Safety standards at every step
• Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to break down pallets, restack, and move stock
• Using RF scanners and computer systems to mark off, track and process deliveries accurately
• Putting away stock and keeping departments informed of deliveries
• Identifying and resolving stock discrepancies
• Following our Food Safety Plan and all compliance requirements
• Keeping the Inwards Goods area, storeroom and yard clean, tidy and secure
• Completing forklift and equipment pre-start checks, and reporting any issues

What You'll Bring

• Current Forklift OSH certificate, with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks — essential
• Confidence using RF scanners and computer systems — you'll be working with technology daily
• Good physical fitness — this is an active role involving heavy lifting (20kg+), so no pre-existing injuries that could be aggravated by this kind of work
• Previous experience in a storeroom, warehouse or similar fast-paced environment
• Sharp attention to detail and accuracy, even when working at pace
• A hard-working, ambitious mindset — someone who wants to grow and take on more
• Excellent communication and reliability — punctual, dependable, and proud of their work
• A genuine team player who pitches in and takes ownership
• Your own reliable transport
• Respect for Health & Safety policies, your colleagues, and our customers
• SAP knowledge or experience with similar systems is an advantage

Hours

Hours of work will be 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
