PAKnSAVE Palmerston North are looking for an experienced

Inwards Goods Person to join our busy team.

The Inwards Goods Department has responsibility for all incoming stock into the supermarket.

Responsibilities will include:

Ensure all stock is efficiently unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining health and safety standards and in accordance with store policies and operational procedures

Breakdown all orders and mark off the stock appropriately, checking deliveries against packing slips while ensuring the quality of goods

Restacking pallets to create space for incoming deliveries

Put away stock in correct locations and ensure departments are aware of deliveries as they arrive

Assisting Grocery in building displays and rolling pallets

Processing credits and reduced to clear items

Ensure inwards goods area is kept clean and tidy, includes scrubbing floors and keeping the area free of potential hazards

Keep all documentation up to date

Adhere to store health & safety and food safety procedures

Ideally you will have SAP experience, but not essential

The successful candidate will be able to show the following qualities:

Experience operating a forklift and hold a current forklift licence

Good communication skills

Attention to detail

Excellent organisational and time management skills

An ability to work in a busy team

Hours are:

Tuesday, 7.30am - 4pm

Wednesday, 7.30am - 4pm

Thursday, 7.30am - 4pm

Friday, 7.30am - 4pm

Saturday, 4.30am - 1pm

TOTAL = 40hrs
