Inwards Goods Supervisor
We’re looking for a sharp Inwards Goods Supervisor to take charge of the engine room at Gilmours Manukau. This isn’t just about moving boxes; it’s about mastering the flow of stock, protecting our bottom line, and leading a safe, efficient warehouse environment.
As the gatekeeper of our store, you’ll ensure that every pallet entering the building is accounted for, rotated correctly, and ready for the floor. You’ll be the bridge between our suppliers and our sales departments, making sure speed to shelf is a reality, not just a goal.
What You’ll Do
- Command the Dock: Lead the unloading and processing of stock with military precision.
- SAP Master: Own the data. You’ll process claims, credits, and inwards goods summaries daily.
- Safety First: Maintain gold-standard OHS and Food Safety compliance in the inwards area.
- Security Guru: Manage the 'back door' protocol—ensuring our stock and our site stay secure.
- Inventory Control: Manage the Credit Bay and stock rotation to keep waste at zero.
What You Bring
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in a fast-paced Inwards Goods or Storeroom role.
- Technical Skills: You’re a proficient SAP user and a confident Forklift Operator (current license is a must).
- Physicality: You’re fit, healthy, and ready to get stuck into the physical demands of the warehouse.
- Eyes like a Hawk: You spot a damaged carton or a paperwork error from a mile away.
- Reliability: You’re autonomous, customer-focused, and take pride in a clean, hazard-free workspace.
