Assistant – PAK’nSAVE Tauriko
Are you passionate about the
butchery industry and skilled with a knife?
PAK’nSAVE Tauriko is looking for a full-time Butchery Assistant to join
our busy team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a
fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality products to our
customers.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with cutting, packing, and merchandising
meat products to ensure a wide range and sufficient quantity is available
at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and
presentation in the department.
- Perform temperature checks and follow food safety
procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle
enquiries professionally.
- Work collaboratively and follow instructions to
meet daily demands.
What we’re looking for:
- Knife-hand experience is essential.
- Ability to work under pressure in a cold
environment and handle heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Good communication skills and a positive,
approachable attitude.
Rostered Hours:
- Monday: 4am–2pm
- Tuesday: 5am–3pm
- Wednesday: 6am-4pm
- Thursday: 5am–3pm
- Sunday: 6am–4pm
Remuneration:
Hourly rate will be dependent on experience
