PAK’nSAVE Tauriko is looking for a full-time Butchery Assistant to join our busy team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality products to our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with cutting, packing, and merchandising meat products to ensure a wide range and sufficient quantity is available at all times.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the department.
• Perform temperature checks and follow food safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle enquiries professionally.
• Work collaboratively and follow instructions to meet daily demands.

What we’re looking for:

• Knife-hand experience is essential.
• Ability to work under pressure in a cold environment and handle heavy lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Good communication skills and a positive, approachable attitude.

Rostered Hours:

• Monday:      4:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Tuesday:      5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Wednesday: 4:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Thursday:    5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Sunday:       6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Remuneration:

Hourly rate will be dependent on experience
