Liquor Assistant


We are seeking for a motivated, enthusiastic and a physically fit person to join our team in the Liquor Department.

The primary role of the Liquor Assistant is to assist in the day-to-day running of the liquor department to ensure that sufficient quantities and range of products are available for sale at the correct price at all times during opening hours as well as ensuring the department is well merchandised, clean, tidy and attractively presented.

As a Liquor Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the handling, storage, and distribution of alcoholic beverages.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Safely operating a forklift to move and stack liquor pallets in the warehouse.
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels on the shop floor displays.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

 Requirements:

  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 20kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be Customer focused with good Customer Service skills
  • Good product knowledge of all types of beers and wines
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and able to work unsupervised when required
  • Flexible with working hours and must be able to work one day in weekend
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Days & Hours:  Tuesday to Saturday 6am to 4pm
