We're looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Liquor Tastings Specialist to bring our liquor department to life through engaging tastings, product demonstrations, and exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As our Liquor Tastings Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering product tastings and demonstrations that showcase our range of wines, beers and specialty products. You'll help customers discover new favourites, drive sales, and create a memorable in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging liquor tastings and product demonstrations.
• Share product knowledge and recommendations with customers.
• Create excitement around new products, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
• Work closely with the Liquor Manager and suppliers to coordinate tasting events.
• Maintain presentation standards for tasting stations and promotional displays.
• Ensure all tastings comply with Sale and Supply of Alcohol legislation and company policies.
• Track sales performance and customer feedback from tasting events.
• Assist with merchandising and promotional activities within the liquor department.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for wine, beer and food pairings.
• Confident and engaging communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexible availability, including Fridays, weekends, and key promotional periods.
• LCQ qualification or willingness to obtain one would be preferred.
