Loss Prevention Assistant

The Loss Prevention Team at Greenmeadows New World provide service and support 7 days a week. This is a varied role working primarily independently, supporting staff and preventing theft or disruption in-store.

The Loss Prevention Assistant is responsible for helping to ensure the safety of staff and customers at all times while managing all loss prevention and security related issues. 

The Loss Prevention Assistant Role covers the following duties;

• Undertake regular store walks to identify potential security issues or concerns 
• Record keeping and report writing
• Assisting in training staff in-store on Loss Prevention
• Monitoring CCTV
• Use of Auror System
• Aiding customers and staff in-store
• Liase with Loss Prevention team, Store Management, Appropriate Employees and external bodies such as the Police

The Position;

This is a permanent part-time position, totaling 32 hours per week (Friday through Monday)

Monday - 12.45pm til 9.15pm 
Friday - 12.45pm til 9.15pm
Saturday - 12.45pm - 9.15pm
Sunday - 12.45pm - 9.15pm

The successful candidate will have the following;

• Industry experience on Loss Prevention
• Confidence in decision making under pressure
• Customer Service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in handling challenging people and situations
• An understanding that confidentiality is imperative
