Online Assistant Manager - Full Time


We have created a new role Online Assistant Manager to support the Manager. We are looking for someone energetic & solution-focused to make sure we are consistently delivering the best possible click & collect experience to our customers.

 You will be supporting the Online Manager to ensure smooth operation of Online and a flawless customer experience. You'' act as a role model for the Online team and keep morale high.... even when it gets stressful! You’ll be motivated who will champion excellence in performance & productivity whilst maintaining a positive atmosphere in the Online Team.

You’ll work side by side with the Online Manager and team leading by example and providing guidance, support & training to help this new department continue to develop.

We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their place of work and who is 100% committed to delivering the best customer experience.

In this active role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all orders are processed in accordance with standard operating procedures, best practice food safety, health, safety, and compliance guidelines.

Our ideal Online Team Leader will have:

  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisor role (retail or online shopping role an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and deal effectively with a number of tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining individual and team effectiveness
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to adapt quickly in response to changing priorities A positive outlook; regards challenges as opportunities
  • A solution-focused mind-set
  • Physical fitness allowing you to complete the requirements of the role

The hours for this full-time position and would include 1 day of the weekend
