Online Delivery Drivers - New World Point Chevalier

New World Point Chevalier is looking for motivated people to join our high-performing Online team as Online Delivery Drivers in permanent part-time roles.

Our Online team runs a tight ship. Delivering groceries is only one part of the role – our drivers are an integral part of the Online operation. You'll be just as comfortable behind the wheel as you are helping stage orders, picking and packing shopping, and supporting the wider team wherever needed. We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and take ownership of their work. If you're someone who thinks on their feet, takes initiative without being asked, and enjoys working alongside a team that strives for excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

Position 1

Saturday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Sunday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Position 2

Sunday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Monday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering customer grocery orders safely and professionally.
• Providing outstanding customer service at every doorstep.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Staging customer orders ready for dispatch.
• Picking and packing customer orders when required.
• Communicating with customers regarding deliveries and resolving issues professionally.
• Supporting the wider Online team with day-to-day operational tasks.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, vehicle presentation and organisation.

What We're Looking For

• A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence (essential).
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Someone who takes initiative and solves problems quickly.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Confident working independently while contributing to a close-knit team.
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving grocery orders.
• Previous delivery, retail or supermarket experience is an advantage but not essential.
