ONLINE/DELIVERY/GROCERY ASSISTANT

The Online/Delivery Grocery Assistant will plan and organize the day-to-day picking, packing, and processing and delivery of all online shopping customer orders and working in the Grocery department.

We are looking for someone to work Part Time Sunday and Monday Mornings who can:

• Ensure all items picked, packed, processed and invoiced for a customer’s order is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure orders are labelled and checked, stored securely (within staging area), recorded and temperature checked in accordance with Online store policies and operational procedures within a timely manner.
• Ensure lockers are empty and clean after each allocated timeslot, where necessary returning uncollected orders to the appropriate storage areas within the staging area
• Ensure housekeeping/cleaning responsibilities and schedules for the staging area, lockers, online equipment, and vehicles are maintained and adhered to.
• Assist loading delivery vehicle, ensuring that goods are secure and tidy.
• Communicate with customers to advise of out of stocks, substitutions and any other information that is relevant to their order.
• Deliver customer’s online shopping order to their designated address on the nominated day and time, in a timely, safe manner.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Good command of written and spoken English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good basic Maths and sound computer skills
• The ability to prioritise and multitask consistently to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
• Have a current clean, full driver’s license.
