Online Manager - Join Our Team

We’re looking for an Online Manager to take ownership of our Online Department and help deliver an efficient, accurate and excellent online shopping experience for our customers.

 

About the Role

As our Online Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Online Department, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently, orders are ready on time, and the team delivers a high standard of customer service.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Leading, supporting and motivating the Online team
  • Managing the daily workflow and ensuring orders are completed on time
  • Monitoring online order volumes, picking performance and customer service
  • Managing staff rosters and ensuring appropriate department coverage
  • Training and coaching team members to maintain high standards
  • Monitoring stock availability and managing online range and product availability
  • Working closely with other departments to resolve stock and product issues
  • Ensuring substitutions are handled appropriately and with the customer in mind
  • Monitoring online orders, pick-ups and deliveries
  • Investigating and resolving customer issues relating to online orders
  • Ensuring orders are picked accurately, safely and presented to a high standard
  • Monitoring department productivity and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Keeping the Online Department clean, organised and well maintained
  • Ensuring company procedures, food safety and health & safety requirements are followed
  • Communicating effectively with Store Management and other departments
  • Helping develop and improve our online shopping processes and customer experience

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

 

 

  • Has previous supermarket, retail or online shopping experience
  • Has leadership or supervisory experience
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Is confident working with computers and online systems
  • Has strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Can work well under pressure in a busy environment
  • Has a strong customer-focused mindset
  • Is confident leading, coaching and holding team members accountable
  • Is proactive and takes ownership of their responsibilities
  • Works well with other departments and enjoys being part of a team
  • Has a positive attitude and leads by example
