We’re looking for a motivated Online Manager to join our leadership team at New World Mt Roskill.

About the Role

As our Online Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Online department, ensuring operational excellence across picking, packing, delivery, and click & collect. With the department experiencing strong growth, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive results and play a key role in shaping the future of our Online offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support the Online team, always leading by example.
• Plan, monitor, and priorities the full online order cycle from picking to delivery.
• Manage rosters and wage budgets effectively.
• Drive KPIs, wage controls, and shrinkage targets.
• Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and online equipment to required standards.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and store policies.
• Build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Step in to assist with picking and delivering orders during peak times or staff absences – this is a hands-on role where teamwork and flexibility are key.

• Ability to priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service focus and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to meet the role’s requirements.
• A full driver’s license is essential.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in food retail or online operations.
• Computer literacy and confidence with systems.
• Sound numeracy and written communication skills.
• Customer service or fresh food retail experience.
