Online Manager


New World Te Atatū are looking for an experienced Online Manager to join the brand-new team and play a pivotal role in launching online at our new store.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a purpose-built online operation in a brand-new store, featuring a spacious online fulfilment area, dedicated customer collection bays, the latest technology and equipment, and the support to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

We're looking for a proven Online Manager who understands what it takes to deliver operational excellence, lead high-performing teams, and drive growth in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.   • $29-$34 per hour 
  • Roster negotiable (one weekend day required)

Te Tūranga – About the role

  • As our Online Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of leading the day-to-day operations of our Online Shopping team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive their orders efficiently, accurately, and with outstanding service, while also overseeing timely and precise deliveries.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the Online team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Oversee the picking, packing, and processing of all online orders.
  • Monitor KPIs, manage rosters and wage, and maintain high operational standards.
  • Resolve customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Collaborate with store departments to keep product information and store mapping accurate.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped online department.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and store leadership.
