Online Picker & Driver

At New World Mt Roskill, our Online team plays an important role in creating a convenient and memorable shopping experience for customers who choose to shop from the comfort of their homes.

We’re looking for a customer focused Online Personal Shoppers to join our busy Online department. You will be responsible for selecting quality products, preparing customer orders with care and when required delivering those orders safely and on time becoming a friendly face of New World Mt Roskill in our local community.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Online Personal Shopper & Driver you’ll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives the same quality products they would select themselves.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing online orders efficiently and accurately.
• Selecting the best quality and freshest products for every customer.
• Checking labelling and preparing orders for collection or delivery.
• Loading and unloading orders safely and carefully.
• Completing deliveries according to scheduled routes and timeframes.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service at every doorstep.
• Working effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace safety.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A Full and clean NZ Driver license and be able to drive a larger van sized vehicle – provided by the company
• Retail or customer service experience —an advantage.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic..
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to be on your feet throughout the day.
